"Wildlife filmmaking is at the core of my work, driven by a passion for documenting behaviour and telling stories from the natural world" Nathan Sykes
Elephants of Schotia
A short wildlife sequence documenting an encounter with two bull elephants in musth, observed during fieldwork. The footage captures a brief dominance interaction between the bulls, followed by calmer behaviour as they moved to drink, offering a contrast between heightened aggression and more relaxed social dynamics.
Filmed in natural conditions, the video reflects the unpredictability of working around large mammals and the importance of maintaining awareness and distance while documenting behaviour in the field.
